Terms of Service
Hardware, accounts, memberships and purchases.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service and Sale cover aimbud.net, aimbud accounts, hardware, proprietary software, membership and support. The seller and service operator is aimbud LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States. Shipping and local fulfillment take place from Jordan. Contact [email protected] for business, order and service inquiries.
The sign-in and registration forms present links to this version beside the relevant action. By completing sign-in or registration after that notice, including through Google, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Visiting a public page alone is not acceptance. Purchasers and account holders must be at least 18 and legally able to manage the account, including parents or legal guardians managing access for a designated user aged 13-17.
The Privacy Policy describes current processing and identifies planned practices separately. Acknowledging it is not blanket consent to data processing. Terms acceptance does not subscribe you to optional marketing, enable screenshot contributions or authorize recurring payments.
2. Age, parents and accounts
aimbud is intended for users aged 13 and over, not children under 13. Purchasers must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the contract where they live, including any higher local age requirement.
For a user aged 13-17, a parent or legal guardian must purchase and manage the account for one designated young user, review the terms and privacy information with them, and authorize and supervise use. This does not permit siblings, friends or other people to share the designated user's paid access, or remove the young user's own privacy rights.
Keep account and delivery details accurate, protect sign-in credentials, and contact support about suspected unauthorized access. The adult should manage access without sharing their password. Applicable law determines responsibility for unauthorized transactions; account ownership alone does not make every transaction your responsibility.
3. Hardware, software and membership
The hardware is a physical product. Proprietary software is licensed for personal use with an authorized aimbud device under a limited, non-exclusive license. Third-party open-source licenses continue to govern their components and are not overridden by these terms.
aimbud processes HDMI video and mouse input on external hardware without requiring an aimbud application on the gaming PC. Compatibility and performance depend on the display, input devices, connections, game, configuration and software version. Check tested requirements before buying.
Aim assistance requires an eligible trial or active membership, an account, and regular communication with the online entitlement service. Temporary offline grace is not permanent offline access. Aim assistance stops when access expires or cannot be validated beyond the grace period. Hardware purchase does not include lifetime membership. Support commitments and mandatory remedies remain separate.
4. Games, performance and permitted use
aimbud is not represented as endorsed or authorized by any game publisher, anti-cheat provider, platform or tournament organizer. Their rules may prohibit assisted or automated input, including external hardware. Check the rules of the setting in which you intend to use it.
There is no guarantee of immunity from detection, account restrictions or bans, or of a particular ranking or competitive result. Third-party decisions are outside aimbud's control. This does not excuse an inaccurate product description or remove remedies for it.
Do not use aimbud unlawfully, attack its services, access another person's account without permission, use stolen payment credentials, bypass paid entitlement, or distribute proprietary software without permission. Restrictions on modification or reverse engineering cannot override applicable open-source licenses or mandatory repair, interoperability or other protected rights.
5. Orders, prices and availability
International availability depends on destination rules, product requirements, import/export restrictions, payment-provider rules and carrier coverage. Shipment to every destination cannot be guaranteed. Delivery eligibility, the applicable stock or preorder status, price, shipping and any taxes collected by aimbud need to be established before payment.
Shipping is charged separately from the hardware price and included in the total payable to aimbud. Import charges payable on arrival are separate. An undisclosed charge must not be imposed after an order is accepted, and a later price change does not change an already accepted order or purchased membership period.
A payment request or pending transfer is not proof of completed payment. If an availability or payment issue prevents fulfillment, support will explain the issue and available options, including cancellation and refund where applicable. Your existing order confirmation and applicable rights remain in effect.
6. Crypto payments and refunds
Current crypto checkout uses NOWPayments. Follow the exact asset, network, address, amount and expiry in the payment instructions. The same token on another network is a different payment route. NOWPayments supplies quotes and handles processor-side conversion; your wallet or exchange may charge separately for sending funds.
Underpayments, late or repeated payments, overpayments and wrong-asset transfers can need review. Contact support with the payment reference rather than sending another payment to a request that needs review. Recovery of an unsupported or misdirected transfer may be technically impossible. Processor or exchange security and legal checks may require additional information.
Never send a password, private key or seed phrase to support. A blockchain transfer being irreversible does not eliminate a contractual or statutory refund right. A refund is a separate transfer and requires a verified receiving address, supported network and any necessary memo. An exchange's original sending address must not be assumed to be a suitable refund address.
Our refund policy uses the original USD value of the refundable purchase, not a promise to return the original number of crypto units. A full preorder cancellation includes that preorder's shipping charge. The refund asset, network and conversion calculation will be explained before execution. The order price is not a cap on recovery of unrelated excess funds, and mandatory refund methods or amounts take priority.
We will submit due refunds within five calendar days of entitlement arising, or sooner where required, with aimbud paying refund-transfer/network fees rather than deducting them from the refund entitlement. Submission is not a guarantee of when an exchange credits the transfer. Refund fees are separate from hardware-return postage. Refunds currently require a support request and manual processing.
7. Dispatch, preorders and delivery
Our carrier is Jordan Post. Standard and Express options are offered where available at checkout. In-stock dispatch is within three business days after payment confirmation, usually within one. Dispatch days are Sunday through Thursday, excluding public holidays in Jordan. Dispatch means carrier handoff, not arrival at your address; transit and customs take additional time.
Preorders are paid in full upfront. Their dispatch window is usually under 14 business days and up to 30 business days after payment confirmation, instead of the in-stock window. Thirty business days is not one calendar month. The preorder status and order-specific timing must be disclosed before payment. Choosing faster shipping does not make preorder stock available sooner.
Shipping services, rates and destination-specific delivery estimates will be confirmed for the order. Import duties and import taxes are normally payable by the customer on arrival, except taxes aimbud must collect. This arrangement does not remove the seller's own tax obligations.
Material delays require communication and any applicable choice between a revised dispatch date and cancellation with refund. Carrier estimates do not permit unlimited delay. Report missing or damaged parcels to support with the order reference and useful evidence. An arbitrary short reporting deadline does not remove mandatory rights. Handoff to the seller's carrier does not automatically transfer all delivery risk to you.
8. Cancellation and hardware returns
You may cancel a preorder before carrier handoff for a full refund, including the shipping paid for the cancelled preorder. Contact [email protected] with a clear cancellation request and order reference. Packing an order or creating a label is not dispatch.
We do not offer a voluntary change-of-mind return after delivery. This does not restrict mandatory withdrawal or cancellation rights. A board arriving defective is eligible for assessment and replacement or refund, taking account of applicable remedies.
For covered statutory defect claims, aimbud must cover the reasonable or necessary return and replacement-shipping costs required by law. For other returns under the arrival-defect policy, the customer pays return and replacement postage only where lawful and disclosed before purchase. A remedy required to be free cannot be charged for.
Covered EU/UK distance purchases normally include a 14-day withdrawal right after receiving hardware, without needing a reason, followed by the applicable return period. Other jurisdictions may provide different or additional rights. Necessary inspection is permitted; excessive handling may affect value where lawful, but unopened original packaging is not an absolute condition of a statutory remedy.
A clear withdrawal statement does not require prior permission or a particular form. You may email support with the item, order reference, date ordered/received, customer name and contact details, and a clear statement that you are withdrawing. This email route does not replace any online withdrawal facility required by applicable law.
The seven-day software trial is not the hardware return period. Activation does not automatically remove hardware withdrawal rights. Obtain confirmed return instructions before shipping a board, and remove local personal settings where possible. Applicable rules on reimbursement, outbound shipping, return costs and refund withholding take priority.
9. Defects, guarantees and warranty
Faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods can give rise to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund rights. Those rights are not limited to defects discovered on arrival. Contact the seller; you need not pursue only the component manufacturer.
Covered EU consumer goods have a minimum two-year legal guarantee, with longer protection in some countries. UK buyers retain applicable statutory rejection and other remedies, and US buyers retain applicable state and federal protections.
We offer no additional voluntary commercial warranty beyond the arrival-defect commitment. This does not shorten mandatory guarantees, non-excludable implied warranties, or coverage already promised to an existing purchaser. The five-year service-support commitment below is not a five-year hardware warranty.
Damage caused by misuse, liquid exposure or unsuitable power may not be a product defect. Opening or independently repairing a board does not automatically remove all statutory or warranty rights; the cause and applicable law matter.
10. Trial and membership
An eligible device has a seven-day trial from first activation. Resetting, reinstalling software or replacing storage does not restart its original trial. Current paid memberships are for the period shown at checkout and do not automatically renew. Your account shows the resulting expiry; a calendar month is not necessarily 30 days.
Our cancellation policy refunds the remaining calendar time of paid membership, including an unelapsed part of a used period. The calculation is the actual USD amount paid for that period multiplied by the proportion remaining when cancellation takes effect. An entirely unstarted cancelled period is refunded in full. Twenty days remaining in a 30-day paid period would refund two-thirds of that period's actual price.
Hours spent playing do not change calendar time. Elapsed time is not voluntarily refunded simply because the device was not used. Administrative processing delays must not silently consume the refundable period. A greater remedy required for a defect, non-supply or statutory withdrawal remains available. Contact support to request cancellation; calculation, access adjustment and actual transfer must be handled together.
No action is needed to stop automatic billing because there is currently no auto-renewal. A membership preference recorded during hardware checkout is not authorization for later charges. Any future recurring product needs separate pricing, consent and cancellation arrangements. These terms do not authorize recurring charges.
11. Updates, support and retirement
aimbud checks entitlement and update availability online and distributes signed updates. Security or compatibility updates may be required, but do not authorize arbitrary removal of purchased features or mandatory remedies.
Our maintenance commitment is at least five years from each device's delivery for necessary security updates and required online services, or longer where required. Required security updates remain free without paid membership; paid aim-assist features still require eligible access.
This is not five years of free membership, uninterrupted uptime, every future feature or compatibility with every future game. The minimum period is not an automatic shutdown date. Planned retirement of required support or services carries at least 12 months' advance notice without shortening minimum support, existing paid commitments or mandatory rights. The effect and available continuity options or remedies must be explained.
Our support response target is a human response within two Sunday-Thursday business days, not resolution of every issue within that time. Contact [email protected].
12. Personal access, repair and recovery
Accounts and paid access are personal. Do not share credentials, sell or give away an account, or share paid access, subject to the parent/guardian arrangement and rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Open-source permissions remain separate.
Device access is linked to an account and device. Hardware or storage changes can require verification and re-enrollment. Contact support about repair, replacement or lost-account recovery. Resetting a board does not delete a website account or all server records.
These terms do not establish a blanket ban on lawful resale or gifting of physical hardware, authorize automatic device disabling for a transfer, or remove necessary repair, return and recovery options. Personal accounts and paid access must not be sold or shared. Contact support about ownership changes; applicable rights remain protected.
13. Restrictions and account closure
Proportionate restrictions may be needed for credible account compromise, payment fraud, attacks, a material breach or legal requirements. Where appropriate, a reason and an opportunity to resolve the issue should be provided. Urgent security action may be necessary. Contact support for human review.
A restriction does not automatically forfeit the hardware, orders or prepaid access. Applicable refunds and remedies still need assessment. Request closure through support, with an explanation of the effect on device access, pending purchases and legally retained records.
14. Intellectual property and contributions
Branding and proprietary software remain with their rights holders. Game names describe compatibility or context, not endorsement. Applicable third-party and open-source licenses remain in effect.
You retain rights you hold in support material. Permission to handle a support request is not a blanket license for advertising or AI training. Any future screenshot-contribution program requires a separate notice and valid choice, initially for adults only and off by default. Accepting these terms does not enable collection or grant perpetual rights to private material. A user cannot grant rights belonging to other players or publishers.
15. Responsibility and disputes
aimbud remains responsible for agreed products, services and legal obligations. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
Game/platform decisions, external outages and blockchain events are not wholly within aimbud's control. This does not remove responsibility for its own breach, misrepresentation or negligence where applicable law provides it.
Contact [email protected] with the issue and requested resolution. This does not require giving up access to a regulator, statutory procedure or court. Applicable law determines your rights and the competent courts. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver and do not require a consumer to waive protections available where they live.
Future material changes will be identified with a new version and appropriate notice and agreement where necessary. They will not silently rewrite earlier purchases, substitute another seller retroactively, or remove mandatory consumer protections. If a provision cannot lawfully apply, mandatory law takes priority.
